You always show up. π
We disagree, and thatβs both okay and constitutional!
(But we agree that the current guy is unqualified for anything.)
*This XTwitter guy is a crank, but he's got 50K followers and he's having a sudden panic attack about data centers getting drone-hit
*He somehow imagines that Trumpistan data-centers could NEVER get drone-hit, or just shot up with 50-calibers by disgruntled J6ers
I know multiple people who worked with the ex president and they all say pretty much the same thing.
Conversely, I have yet to meet someone with a positive first person impression of the current POTUS.
Iβve seen things you people wouldnβt believe.
Two D graphics on CGA monitors.
Iβve heard modems handshake at 1200 baud.
All those moments will be lost in time, like mom picked up the phone.
Just quit, then.
β¦taking some load off his employees by pitching in. It would have been effortless aura farming and bought so many loyalty points.
But no.
This is the difference between leaders and owners.
2/2
I was having lunch at my favorite neighborhood restaurant yesterday. They were swamped, with only the bartender and a server.
The owner came in to meet some dude and did so while his employees were in the weeds.

Dubyaβs nowhere near as dumb as popular Democratic mythology wants him to be.
We are at the brink of Negative Polarization Canyon.
The question going forward is whether you have your immigrant and LGBT neighborβs backs, or whether you vote for the people who want to stuff them in a wood chipper.
βThere are, increasingly, only two teamsβa progressive liberal one, and a far-right one, with little in between and everyone else forced to pick a side.β
This.
This over, and over.
I'm not even sure the last time I saw $3.50/gal, and I doubt I'll see it that low off rez for the rest of the time I'm here.
WA isn't all that far behind CA, and as far as I know, there's not a state-specific blend up there.
Heβs just the flip side of the Herschel Walker coin. Heβs wildly popular in SEC America without having an ounce of senatorial qualifications.
This is the dumbest cyberpunk dystopia.
In the 1997 dystopian scifi film Gattaca, rapid DNA testing is used to determine social class and job eligibility. In 2026 UK, women wanting to participate in athletics must pay a Β£185 gender tax to take part in a genetic lottery where some will be ineligble due to previously unknown chromosones.
Donβt let Kennedyβs βaw shucksβ corn pone LARP fool you. Heβs got a bachelorβs from Vandy and law degrees from UVA and Oxford.
Tuberville, OTOH, is a genuine ignoramus.

The broccoli haired intern problem is real and bigger than we supposed.
Ellis Peters made a career out of that!
Great casting and storytelling.
It reminded me a lot of Gladiator⦠I mean, it hewed a little closer to the facts, but still, it was a novelization that played fast and loose with history for the sake of a good story, yet managed to be very evocative of the epoch.
Quite an opening paragraph.
I know itβs the farthest thing from a documentary, but I absolutely fell head over heels for King & Conqueror and binge watched almost the whole thing last night.
(Since patriarchy assumes that dudes getting laid is always good, it turns a blind eye to the male victims of statutory rape by female predators because Hot For Teacher is different than Donβt Stand So Close to Me.)
Seriously one of the creepiest manifestations of patriarchy.
