So it could be coming from a vessel, except we weren’t able to see anything on the water when we were scoping it out. Something capable of shooting beacons like this would definitely be more visible than not, and there wasn’t any fog to obscure visibility

We were able to triangulate the likely source location, but the thing that was especially puzzling was that there were no houses, roads, or even land in the area in might’ve been coming from. It was in a wide creek feeding into the bay
