This iridescent, dendritic (from the Greek word dendron, meaning tree) #perovskite likely formed from volcanic gases released from a volcanic vent, or fumarole. This crystal is from the Eifel Mountains, Germany. Perovskite can be beautiful!

The AFM will be integrated into a scanning confocal microscope with an additional hyperspectral imaging unit. This multimodal supermicroscope will bring material science AFM on a completely new level. We will keep you updated!

The volume of mining and material use with EVs and renewables is massively in favor of clean energy, mainly because you can reuse batteries for decades and then recycle them. Oil, gas, and gas must be constantly moved.
