This is about AI in coding, but it’s also true of translation. Lately I’ve been assigned to QA a few subtitle files that I’m *pretty sure* were generated by AI, and the QA on them takes about 10x longer than human translations (but guess who doesn’t get paid 10x as much to do the QA!)
