Watch the depreciation of current cars. 🤣😂
The 4XE with fire risk & owner warning not to park inside. The Charger EV with a multitude of problems early that had owners with cars not able to be used & building an EV with zero route planning is sign that the company has no clue about EVs. Add in pricing was $20-$25k too high.
Build junk EVs & buyers aren’t interested. How shocking. 😉
1600 miles from Fort Collins, CO to Alabama Gulf Coast road trip in January. Both cars performed like champs! @lucidmotors.bsky.social @porscheusa.bsky.social
Yep. Expect they will pull demand lever of slashing prices this year on it like they did a couple of years ago with S & X. Not sure it helps as the used market is flooded with inventory. I sold mine privately as value is falling off a cliff.
That steering wheel is awful. 🤦♂️
Is this surprising?
Likely bigger downside as I think they counted Cybertruck sales to SpaceX in those numbers. Nothing like having a side company to buy some of the stagnant inventory & helping out sales figures. 😉
Oil is so back……🤦♂️
The Legend @johnvoelcker.bsky.social Great guest & always enjoyable hearing John’s insights.
😳 Wow!
2/2 The “thrill or excitement” that drove many buyers of German luxury & sportiness younger buyers don’t see that as important. Screens, autonomy & price is their focus. It’s sad & depressing for car people like myself, but don’t see it changing. EVs & cars are appliances/computers to them.
1/2 One part of this that didn’t get mentioned is the lessening of car culture in general. Younger generation is driving at lower numbers, waiting longer to get a license & the ones that are see it as just transportation.
Considering this was a more current & immediate national tragedy I think he made the right choice.
I’m pretty sure if a friend of mine was just murdered that I’d make the same choice & try to help that friend’s wife & family anyway I could in such a dark time. At least I hope I would.
Lawyers finally winning in Boardroom. Designed to limit future liability exposure as lawsuits are piling up.
No color matched wheels. ☹️
Think you can state a car can do pretty much anything in China & not have to actually prove it.
Meanwhile over on X, Elon is crying anti-trust at Apple for not promoting his Grok app higher in the App Store. The phrase he used of “Apple putting their thumb on the scale” is really rich coming from him. 🙄
Agree. Especially now.
I’ll have to relook. Think I caught it right after went up. I did agree with you simplifying the order process & discounts. That’s one area they need help in is streamlining stuff & focus what important. I don’t get the referral program cuts. If they get an order give some perks.
I was a little bummed by this one. The tombstone thumbnail I didn’t love, but know it gets clicks.
Well you can shift if you want like a video game. 🤣😂 I really enjoyed that car.
Ioniq 5N. 😉
The stuff coming out of old frack wells is just as bad & needs serious attention.
After test driving the Lucid Gravity again today & much more time with it along with being able to go over it without a hoard of people around I’ve come to a conclusion: Lucid will be able to sell as many of the Gravity as they can make. It’s that good.
I’ve been shocked for years that Tesla’s attorneys not pushing back on FSD internally with the potentially inherent safety risks associated with it. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall in those meetings with Mr. Musk. 😳
Well that explains the sales number anomaly compared to rest of the continent.
It’s cheaper than other EVs on taxes?
