Patient partners play a vital role in research but face systemic barriers to fair pay. Institutions must match their equity commitments with action—transparent, equitable compensation is long overdue.

Patient partners aren't study subjects. Patient partner research has a compensation crisis.

We must do better to promote equity and ensure that patient partnerships are respected and compensated.

Not really, I think it comes down to their personal preferences and features on a platform. For example, TikTok grew at a massive rate among the youth because of the features it offered. I think, unfortunately, there's still a long way to go until we see BlueSky match X.

@bluesky is growing, but I'm worried we lose significant voices on other platforms like X when it comes to reaching patients and the public on matters around #AMR. X=700M users

I know SM is a tough battleground, but having a diverse presence is important to patients who are seeking information
