The funny thing is, density isnβt noisy. Go hang out anywhere in dense Capitol Hill in Seattle at any time of day and itβs completely quiet despite being the densest neighborhood in the state. These planners know this too
Exactly as much info as the original post. Except:
- this is more accessible
- has a link for people who want to read more
- has nothing to do with X
It's not worse, it's only better. What are you even arguing for here, that everyone keep posting screenshots forever?
??? This is all I'm saying should happen:
Iran has destroyed a key $300 million radar system crucial to directing US missile defense batteries in the Gulf that risks further straining the region's ability to counter future attacks, according to a US official
Could link to the Bloomberg article. That's all the X screenshot is of, really, is a link to an article
Literal Sacrifice zones.
@mayorofseattle.bsky.social needs to fire this guy.
You can just post the article directly. Don't need to screenshot a *link* to it
"You might not like it, but some folks need to bring their cars" is just such a Motte and Bailey.
We could spend 25 years without investing a single cent in roads for cars and people with cars would still be able to get to everywhere they can today just a tiny bit slower.
We have to amend the bill with a "launch into the sun" provision
light rail has been so slow b/t sodo and symphony that it'd almost be faster to bike.
waiting with doors open for minutes at sodo. 5mph crawl from pioneer to symphony... what's going on.
Going to introduce the mosquito vehicle fleet act that requires all wheeled vehicles smaller than a bus but larger than a bike to be zero emission and built locally.
i wonder how often it has a false positive.
like, how many timed during normal use does the model begin to assume it's being evaluated, and is evaluation paranoia just going to be a standard things with models.
it's pretty much this. a study of how cyclist appearance (helmet vs none, gender presentation) change driver's behavior. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
A streetcar rail and street paving bricks are visible alongside a bus lane on asphalt street in two potholes
some good streetcar rail action in the potholes today
Green and white logo with text on the side reading Rainier Valley Safe Streets
Green and white shield shaped logo with Mount Rainier & Lake Washington sticking out from the top as squares depicting road sign style abstractions of a light rail train, person biking, person using a wheelchair, and parent pedestrian holding a kidβs hand
Seattle Streets Alliance logo & title in green and white with a circle logo depicting silhouettes of people walking across a crosswalk, person riding a bicycle, and person using a wheelchair in front of houses, apartments, and trees
Itβs official! We have changed our name to Rainier Valley Safe Streets as part of the rebranding of now Seattle Streets Alliance @sngreenways.bsky.social
This helps with past confusion (we donβt manage the cityβs greenways program)
With a new name, our advocacy for safer streets for all continues
New logo for Seattle Streets Alliance
Love the new branding! streetsalliance.org
@gordonofseattle.bsky.social looks like yall need to set up some social share meta tags though, only the title & url was coming through in the thumbnail.
I keep expecting claude to get back to me with "nah man i have no idea why this is crashing. try something else"
the drone would need a way to refill ammo, so it couldn't just stay up there forever.
I don't think the math works with the solar cell. that's a lot of weight with everything you're describing, and the solar cell would add a lot of drag too.
Trump runs the we rate dogs account?
Today, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson announced three pieces of legislation intended to speed the creation of tiny home villages and other forms of emergency housing serving homeless people.
yeah like in a single stair building you have like 2-6 units per floor.
dual stair building might have 100 units per floor.
I would accept 1 car lane each direction.
That's it
Ke Huy Quan and Brendan Fraser need to be in a movie together
The front lawn will do nicely too
@ricoque-opcd.bsky.social, we should let more people live near and enjoy our best amenities
Computer tip #2: Get a 6" extension cord with a ground plug. (shop around, this one was $3 when i bought it.)
This keeps your big chunky power brick out of the way at coffee shops, and the ground helps it stay plugged in to airplane seat plugs.
Computer tip: get a little webcam cover (linked ones are $1.30 each!).
Not for privacy reasons, but just to keep fingerprints off of your web cam. Just like you'd put a lens cap on fancy camera lenses to keep them clean!
β¨which will immediately get pushed into the bike laneβ¨
things every single republican president of your lifetime has done
- started a war in the middle east
- completely destroyed the economy
