IPCC models might deem it highly unlikely, but Global warming reaching +2.0Β°C next decade is much more likely when considering NASA CERES satellite observations based climate forcings and feedbacks.

We'd better assume observations are more indicative of reality than models alone:

This is the report I spoke of on #bbcaq just now - ministers tried to suppress it, were finally forced to release it after an FoI, but shamefully only published a redacted version. The first duty of Govt is to protect its citizens - that starts with being honest with us about scale of threat we face

Graphic with a dark industrial background showing tall chimneys and thick orange-lit smoke rising into the sky. Headline reads β€œStop Fossil Lobbyists Influencing Climate Talks.” Beneath it is a quote asking what assessment the Government has made of the number of oil and gas lobbyists at COP30 and what steps they will take to prevent fossil-fuel lobbyists from shaping future climate conferences. In the lower section is a small circular photo of Natalie Bennett labelled β€œGreen Party Peer,” above the Green Party logo and imprint. β€œCOP30 Brasil” appears in the top-right corner.

Oil and gas lobbyists have no legitimate role at climate conferences.

We need COP30 to put people and planet first, not polluters.

Make UK companies accountable for destroying forests and people’s lives Powerful UK companies are trashing the environment and wrecking the lives of people overseas through their global supply chains. And UK law lets them get away with it.
