Once you get past the author trying to tell the coach (who Iβve later learned is the Italian Warnock with a promotion record) who he should be playingβ¦ itβs brilliant isnβt it. So much to take in.
Every time I re-read this book I forget how utterly bonkers it isβ¦ and remain amazed itβs not been made into a documentary. Brilliant book & still my all time favourite. Even once recommended it to former Leeds full back Paul Connolly in Tesco.
