TAMU ended our women and gender studies program, degrees and certificates today. Apparently they arenβt allowed under the new donβt mention gender or sexuality in the classroom rules our board passed. I am so saddened by this. I worked as a grad asst to wmst (no gender in the 90s) for a few years

New conspiracy theory just dropped:
What if peer review, committee meetings, strategic plans, promotion & tenure processes, and letter-writing requests are all part of a secret plot to keep smart, creative, active minds from thinking and writing the big ideas that would *really* change the world?

Obviously not the most important thing here, but the fascist right's misreading of American cinema continues apace.
