I mean you're not wrong, but it's just crazy to realize that there's so many pokemon now that even having made over 700... There's still literally hundreds more to go 😭

I'm so determined to finish this project in my lifetime. I thought I could get it done this year but I don't think that's very likely anymore. At the very least I got a stick it out till all 1025 are crocheted, plus longer for whenever they make new pokemon

Dang maybe they shoulda had Oranguru be a sports baller like Passimian!!

Woohoo and now all caught up with my crochet pokemon this year! Hopefully I will remember to continue to post them here as well. Also hopefully I will have energy to crochet them in the first place.

#Ape-ril: Passimian! 6h15! 8" standing, so another large crochet. I don't know what it is about the ape-like Pokemon that they end up so big, but this is like the 3rd one it's happened with lol. Maybe if I make more in the future they'll be smaller and this one will be the MVP of the team

Starting with Oranguru I did work in progress posts with hourly checkpoints over on tumblr that I don't think I'll post here because it won't have the same impact posting those all at once. Maybe some other time when I have energy again, because they are really cool I think.

#Ape-ril: Oranguru! 9h20! This one ended up SO BIG. Like even sitting down it's almost 6" tall. I also took pictures every hour of me crocheting this one so you could really see it all come together from rice ball-looking head to monkey!

#Maw-rch: Swalot v2! 2h19! Made a few adjustments so the black diamonds were clearer, and the overall pokemon a bit taller. There are still some tweaks I'd like to make but that'll have to be after a while. The mouth is still a cinch mechanism, but done a little differently.

#Maw-rch: Loudred! 5h26! I didn't get to crochet much in March (tired, so tired) so this one I worked on a little bit at a time over many days. I redid the body because I wanted the mouth/jaw to look a certain way. It was really important because Loudred's like 80% mouth lol
