Yesterday, I picked up my official nomination papers for candidacy for Congress to represent the MA-06. It's a rite of passage for every first-time candidate, and I was grateful for the sunshine to mark the occasion!
Tech companies are turning over data to DHS identifying users criticizing or tracking ICE. Action must be taken IMMEDIATELY to prevent this hunting of Americans for simply exercising their first amendment right to free speech. This is one more reason we need to #ABOLISHICE

The coup in Venezuela isn’t an isolated event. Trump didn’t kidnap Maduro for being a dictator, and it had nothing to do with drugs. Trump toppled a foreign government for his own profit, ego, and power.
ICE just committed another murder in Minneapolis. They repeatedly shot someone while he was on the ground & outnumbered. This is absolutely horrific. Their sheer brutality can not go unchecked. ICE must leave Minnesota immediately. ICE must be abolished & its agents held accountable for their crimes
On Saturday, I joined protestors at the ICE facility in Burlington. On the way there, I learned of Alex Pretti’s execution at the hands of federal agents. Yet another senseless and preventable murder.
We must abolish ICE to protect our communities from further harm. We have power in numbers.
If Kristi Noem is not immediately fired, she must be impeached.
I called for her impeachment and the abolishment of ICE following the murder of Renee Good. As Secretary of Homeland Security, she must be held fully accountable for the crimes perpetrated by her agents.
Massachusetts is my home, though for the past few years, I lived and worked in Washington, D.C.
This is a blatant attack against our First Amendment rights. The arrests of Don Lemon, Georgia Fort, and other journalists are a clear attempt to intimidate the press into falling in line. This is another case of Donald Trump weaponizing the Justice Department to go after his political enemies.
Instead of spending time on the phone begging millionaires for campaign donations, I spent yesterday protesting in 11 degree weather outside an ICE facility here in the MA-06.

Renee Nicole Good should still be alive. ICE violence is systemic, it's escalating, and it MUST end. I’m calling for the abolishment of ICE and asking all candidates in MA-06 to join me. Congress must impeach Kristi Noem and demand accountability for this illegal violence. No one is above the law.

The current healthcare system in our country is broken and hurting Americans. While the system was never perfect, Trump and the Republican Party are destroying the small progress we had made. Americans are suffering and we need solutions.
It was a busy weekend here in MA-6! Thank you to the Tewksbury Dem Town Committee for hosting me! I stopped by the Salem 400 volunteer fair and made it to Marblehead to protest ICE in community. It was powerful to see many neighbors, friends, and fired-up Democrats pushing for a brighter future.
Yesterday, I joined Justice 4 All and Bear Witness, along with community members, in a protest at the ICE facility in Burlington. ICE is not welcome in our communities.
We do not need the chaos, disorder, and pain they inflict on our neighbors. I proudly stand strong against ICE and demand accountability for their illegal and violent actions.
ICE just killed an unarmed American citizen in Minneapolis. This violence was preventable — and it’s the direct result of the system Kristi Noem and Donald Trump have built on terror and lies. If they think this will silence us, they’re wrong. We demand justice.

I became a veterinarian to help people and their pets, but helping one family at a time is not enough. It only takes a single emergency to tip families into crisis. The system is rigged – and working Americans are struggling to stay afloat.
