The growing white nationalist "active club" movement poses a risk for "extreme violence" in Canada, according to an internal Public Safety Canada brief obtained by CBC News.

I believe they were Active Clubs, and made a decision to start their own movement so that they can be more politically vocal in the middle of last year. I’ll have something out on this, hopefully in the next week or so. I’ll outline my case.

Folkish Vanguard may be the first break away group from the Active Club network. They were active clubs, until seemingly Nov 2025. Website look up info suggests this was planned at least by Aug of 2025. I’ll working on writing up something on this now.

White supremacists use a familiar narrative pattern, then seek a trigger to inspire action. It’s in their literature, and unfolds in reality after every tragedy. Right now, the trigger is being pulled, and it’s transparent.

The barrier to entry is intentionally low. It will be interesting to see if this changes over time as they grow.
Active Clubs claim to be decentralized, yet there are specific by laws and protocols active clubs need to follow. These by laws have to be enforced and monitored.
That’s structure and hierarchy.
