The constant cancellation of exclusive first party and partner games when the Xbox One was out sure didn't help either.
Just means you've gotta start an Insanity playthrough now.
The demo is excellent but very short. Thankfully they incentivize playing it twice by adding a few more tools after the first go.
An Xbox game is one that is cancelled 3/4 of the way into development.
Some college friends were huge Pure Pwnage fans so we took a trip to Chicago to see the movie when they were touring around premiering it in theaters. Remember enjoying it a lot, and my friends got to chat with them for a bit. Apparently one of them is now a crazy right wing chud, sadly.
Feels like there's a lot of potential in the resource management of the various hacking power ups and the limited ammo guns. Especially in the 2nd run of the demo when they add a few things, I was making a lot of small moment-to-moment choices about what to use in each encounter. Very excited for it
Very good. The coolest thing Starfield did was make the (oh so many) loading screens pull from your in-game screenshots. I picked the Xenobiologist background so to roleplay a bit I only took photos of the various alien animals.
Friend and I got the emulation set up a few days ago and had a great time failing the first scenario a few times. Four of us are planning to play tomorrow, very excited.
Yeah... I do like his perspective being how you're introduced to the world in those opening few hours, but it really makes no sense after that.
Yeah I'll play that again. Just inject it into my veins.
It's ridiculous to think that it would have done any better if it shadow dropped like they originally wanted. The market is saturated as hell and the game had no sauce to separate it from the pack.
Saw them a few years ago when they were touring with 100 gecs, incredible show.
We should all be playing Airframe Ultra. When we're not playing Airframe Ultra we should be asking when we can next play Airframe Ultra
Yeah I was gonna mention this, I've only barely poked at this gargantuan mod pack, but the few levels I've checked out have been rad
You ever play The Last Guardian? Took a bit of time to vibe with, but I really fell in love with it by the end. Especially playing the unpatched 60fps version on PS5 with a physical copy.
BitWarden has been great and I haven't seen any kind of AI push from them.
Sounds like playing handheld doesn't have a visual boost worth the price, but docked definitely does.
I only put an hour or two in when the Switch port came out and I'm super excited to get back into it now. Should probably finish Rebirth first though, been playing it again lately and loving it.
The Saga Begins
Leftover baked spaghetti and garlic bread
Always appreciate when UI elements (especially navigational ones), have options like this to dynamically appear. I like your solution of standing still to bring it up, feels accurate to checking a compass while lost, brings a bit of immersion.
How about an Adam Sandler? This was the very first player-made pawn I saw the first time I entered the Rift.
If only, but considering Itsuno left Capcom and Capcom as a business seems to have only disrespect for Dragon's Dogma, I have zero hopes. It really could use a Bitterblack Isle equivalent, I'd die for a deep dungeon crawl with DD2's systems and combat. Been meaning to check out the mod scene soon.
Honestly it's got a lot I like, it's a pretty cool city that's fun to explore and the combat has some fun ideas. Unfortunately it's kinda a technical mess and the first impression of the story and characters is awful.
Yeah, I still want the ability to turn off reposts and quote posts for certain people but my timeline is great most of the time.
Massively underrated and under-discussed gem of a game
I gotta finish this thing some day, every time I boot it up I'm astounded by how much sauce it has, both in style and gameplay
I'm awful at sticking with any kind of task tracking tool, but for a good while I was using this Ultimate Tasks template that an old friend from college created, he has a bunch more worth checking out too www.notion.com/templates/ul...
