Reading a book in Russian again after a year of taking a break to read English novels is humbling. Especially since I've been feeling very good about my spoken Russian recently. I have a loooooong way to go still, but this is how it goes when learning a language.

The answer is probably just my ADHD but it's a little alarming sometimes honestly.
Me: *does a bunch of things that should improve my memory, like reading for fun, learning Russian for 5 years, constantly trying new skilled hobbies, etc*
Also me: *forgets my salary, my dog's age, and my date of birth*π

New snake plant unlocked. Trying to replace some of my tropicals that have died over the last couple years due to my neglect with hardier plants. Itβs especially important since I like traveling for weeks at a time. I wonβt have to worry about this one.
