The European Fan Fund is now seeking candidates for the next trip to Metropolcon, Eurocon 2026 in Berlin (2-5 July 2026).

EFF exists to help build stronger links between European SFFH fandoms, especially where fans may have few connections beyond their own country.

Geen nieuwe behandelingen in het basispakket Maar misschien is het meest rigoureuze voornemen nog wel om het basispakket jarenlang te bevriezen, waardoor er geen nieuwe behandelingen en medicijnen zullen worden vergoed. VVD, D66, SGP, ChristenUnie, Volt en JA21 vinden dat een goed plan, CDA gaat voor een iets minder strikte variant. “Het is geen goed idee én het is niet haalbaar”, zegt directeur van zorgverzekeraar DSW Aad de Groot daarover. In de plannen die de partijen aan het CPB hebben voorgelegd, wordt er gesproken van bevriezen tot 2060. “Als we dat dertig jaar geleden hadden gedaan, hadden we dus nu op het behandelniveau gezeten van 1990. Ik kan je vertellen: er zijn in de tussentijd heel veel goede behandelingen en geneesmiddelen ontwikkeld.”

Veel partijen willen het basispakket bevriezen, waardoor nieuwe medicijnen en behandelingen niet meer worden vergoed.
