I think this story is a really good example for people to look at when it comes to understanding bias at NYT. It's not that the reporter, Dana Rubinstein, says anything outright false. But the framing, word choices, etc., add up to an unprofessional and biased account.

The bottom line is Trump sacrificed 8 American lives (& counting) and more than 1,000 Iranian lives (& counting) for nothing. He hurt the US & global economies, destabilized the Middle East, & will pull out with the same Iranian regime in power. There's no silver lining.

They have no problem spending a billion dollars a day on war, but fight for every penny when it comes to caring for Veterans.

Thousands of lives lost.
People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.
All of Trump's actions are meant to tear away the foundation of our democracy. All of them. Nothing is a distraction, it is all destructive.
So uh, we just bombed Iran to have them place the son in power, drive up oil prices along with all prices, mass civilian casualties and destruction, and have billions of American taxpayer dollars spent.
And now sights are set on Cuba.
For what?
To throw the country into chaos and delay elections.
