more and more these days, I find myself thinking that you can accept the discipline of your political goals or you can accept the discipline of your resentments.
Just a wild mischaracterizarion of the argument too. Our basic point is that class formation is not a y/n question, which is what the book presupposes even if it argues that class consciousness isn’t “automatic.”
