I decided to start weaning because it was getting to be too much, only to discover that weaning can temporarily affect your mental health. Can't win! 🤪

This is because the hormones your body uses to produce milk are also associated with mood boosting.

I'm so grateful I've been able to breastfeed and also damn, it's one of the hardest things I've ever done.

I've been in a full time engineering role for over a year now and something that has surprised me is that it's as much about *aligning* and *building consensus* as it is writing code.

It's not bad, just different from my expectation.
