This photo lists two recitals given by Nina Kopparhed, soprano and Jelena Makarova, piano on,December 12th and January 15th: the text appears on a gold background with shiny, golden sequins falling and gathering at the bottom. There is also a photo of Nina and Jelena at the bottom left of the post, mid performance: Nina is singing and is wearing a red dress with a black belt and gold ballerina flats, jelena is playing a beautiful, shiny grand piano, and wearing a black dress.
Hello everyone, here are my upcoming recitals with Jelena Makarova, piano: Dec 12th, St Saviours, Pimlico and Jan 15th at the Swedish Church (Ulrika Eleonora church). Hope that you're all having a lovely start to December and it'd be fantastic to see you at one of the recitals if you are free.

I was walking back to Westminster station after tonight's rehearsal and was absolutely stunned by how beautifully the streetlights reflected off the wet pavement. No filter or AI enhancement needed, just my phone.

It's official
Proposals to pedestrianise Oxford Street will move ahead
The results are in. The vast majority of Londoners and major businesses back our exciting plans for Oxford Street, so I'm pleased to confirm that we will now be moving ahead as quickly as possible.

Nina's new business cards: they are square, with two photos of Nina in different costumes: the one on the left shows Nina wearing the opera version of a maid's uniform; behind her is a dressing room screen with two beautiful dresses hanging over it on hangers, one dress is pink, the other deep red. The photo on the right shows Nina singing in a red dress with a black obi belt and black opera gloves, with a golden scarf thrown over her shoulder. In the background, there is a pillar lit up with a soft, yellow light. The cards are sitting on a swirly, wavy background of blues and aqua with gold flecks.
New cards (contact info redacted). I'm really happy with these, they're much more "me" thank you, #moocards!
They have a QR to my LinkTree at the back, and I've also set up a matching e-card on blinq.
Do you still use cards, or an e-card only/none at all? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I agree: also, memberships at the same gym vastly differing in cost but not giving you benefits that work for you. I'm now on a pay as you go tariff at my local gym (perfect!), but I used to pay, at the same gym, Β£60 per month for unlimited access/use anywhere in the UK, which was overkill for me.

The view from the top floor of the Rosemullion Hotel, Cornwall: the photo shows a view from inside the room (decorated in calming colours), through the floor to ceiling windows, over the rooftops and straight to the sea. The skies are blue, just a bit of cloud, and the sea is calm. A gorgeous spring day
This popped up as a memory from a holiday in beautiful Cornwall 3 years ago today: it made me really nostalgic, as it was such a gorgeous 4 days away. π Hope that you're all having a wonderful Easter break x

Does anyone know if there's an AI video editor that can automatically track movement (for instance a singer on stage in a production) and put the person in the centre of the frame at all times, so that the video can be used in portrait view? Any advice would be welcome, thanks so much in advance.

A screenshot of an award announcement, featuring a background of a black and white photo of dark, overgrown graveyard, with tangled branches. The awards won are detailed, as are the official selections to further film festivals: each within its own crown of laurels.
Awards won: Berlin Kiez film festival and London Independent Film Festival; official selections: London International short film festival and London Global Film awards.
Repost from @ericfongart, instagram - this beautiful short film, Apparitions, which I loved recording the music for last year (music by stewart Lane, part of his 2024 album,"We are all here") has won another award! Congratulations Eric and best wishes for future success in the upcoming festivals! ππ

Happy Birthday to Jean Sibelius. He captured the soul of Finland and the depths of human longing in his music. The thread below will never do justice to this magnificent musician, but if it encourages even one person to explore the music of Finland, itβs a win.

Burned wood and furniture lies strewn on the floor. The sides of the cathedral are dark and smoke damaged
The newly restored cathedral is bright with light everywhere. The gold, white and black flooring is shining, where the debris once lay.
Here are the before and after photos of Notre Dame.
The first photo was taken just after the fire. The second photo is from today, as the extraordinary transformation was revealed.
