I don't know exact figures but there are plenty, sure. Within my own circles, I can think of several off the top of my head. There's a long history of Scots in Canada. The Scottish were among the earliest settler groups here.

This is a gift article so I will pass it on. I am glad I am not in the US. I use many of these words to describe my research on older adults with dementia and the law (eg. disability, mental health, discrimination, etc).

They could have used acuant, treefort, vaultie, realaml, syngrafi, eID to name a few. All the law societies in Canada have publicly available lists of these softwares and many licensees who can attest to which ones work best.
That it works well should have been the main feature. The in-person verification is helpful (although again, there were issues for people verifying in person as well).
There were ~400,000 registered liberals leading into the vote. The final vote count was how many?
It feels like they chose the worst possible ID verification, and I think they only chose it because it's Canadian and enabled people to also complete the verification in person at the post office.
There were problems throughout. From the very beginning of the registration period.
It is a shame that someone as smart and well performing as Karina Gould doesn't get more than 3%(!!!) of the vote, but if this result is indicative of how Poilievre gets defeated, I won't complain.
There were news pieces on this. Several people couldn't pass the verification either in person at Canada Post or on their phones. Many who did get a pass on their verifications never received a ballot.
We'll never know. But people tried to get help from the party and got nowhere. No responses from the Party's listed assistance email.
The least they could have done was explained what the issues were instead of repeatedly touting, "the system is working as expected" when it clearly wasn't.
