Don’t believe it. iOS 26.2 doesn’t fix split screen or slide over. If anything it is even worse than 26.1. Come on Apple, do better!

Want to turn off Liquid Glass? First you have to turn OFF increase contrast (which you had on so you could read text in 26). Then you can turn off Liquid Glass. But then you’ll notice that Liquid Glass is still on in many spots. So go back into accessibility and turn BACK ON increase contrast.
Heyho! It must be a season change because I’ve
Cast On 3 new things and fighting hard to not start 2 more. Plus the urge to get back to spinning and my Alabama Chanin are strong. Of course I’ve not enough time. This happens every time the seasons change, like clockwork.
I think you missed my point regarding the vastness of open space I need to be able to cover on the regular(I don’t do many “short drives” lol). Anyway, it is moot. I won’t be in the market for a replacement vehicle for at least 10-15 years and hopefully even longer.
I think 350 miles for gas is reasonable (my min functional ev distance is 250 in extreme cold and snow). Of course, my current car gets 550 miles to the tank and fills up in about 5 min. So….yeah…ev isn’t there yet, not practical given rural realities.
I’m 250 miles from the nearest Costco (which is in the nearest big population). We are regularly
below zero for days during winter, so I need minimum 250 miles in extreme cold and snow conditions.
A bear came and visited us for our Labor Day bbq. No pic, we were busy getting the dogs inside. Everyone is now safe inside, and the bear has wandered off to eat more berries. 🐻
from beginning of row to center I’ve counted 195 to 206. It really doesn’t matter except I need to make it even on the other side. Barring some kind of quantum entanglement, surely there is an *actual* *real* number of stitches. (I’m not discounting we could have a quantum entanglement situation).
This is one of the most beautiful things I have witnessed, the craft here is impeccable.
This is something we could look at, if Ann is interested. I believe this kind of thing has been done (maybe by interweave and a different book) in the past. For an app we would need to investigate going beyond the content in the book for expanded ongoing value.
😜
Ummmmmm…..
I want a new bingo card. This one sucks…

Roxanne recently shared her love for Knit Companion over on Knithub, and it’s so interesting to see how she’s using it while working through the body of her Curdach Cardigan.
Do you use it too, #knitsky?
It turns out, i like all food. (This will surprise no one who knows me).
Help @apcuriosities.bsky.social Save the bats. Plus you might win this total fantastic mug from one of my favorite artists! The little bat is on a ring and swings/hangs when you tip to drink. www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticket...
Not even that good! Machine generated code is unreadable and hence unfixable, ungrowable, in maintainable.
Also ai produced code is “throw away” it can’t be maintained, grown, adapted over time. Basically a nightmare if you want something to last more than 6 months. I won’t even talk about finding/fixing bugs in machine generated code!
“Caveat” it’s ok for computer programming tho? Of course because there is no mental engagement, creativity, etc. in coding, and somehow it’s less immoral to steal code, and somehow not so environmentally damaging? 🙃
(And @stolenstitches.bsky.social has many patterns that are indeed the perfect project)
All yarn deserves the perfect project! 😇😁
Ember, when we told her we were coming back next year.
Shadow, upon hearing it was her last beach until next year.

Lutnick, said in an interview over the weekend that "the army of millions and millions of human beings screwing in little screws to make iPhones—that kind of thing is going to come to America."
Take that all you highly skilled tradespeople and college graduates! The future is millions and millions of Americans screwing in tiny little screws. Every day, for minimum wage.
I’ve always loved good dystopian future stories. Well, I *used to*. Now they are coming true,
which is scary af and not nearly as much fun.
While we are at it, let’s bring back the buggy whip industry. 🙃🙄
Fell down the Alabama Chanin School of Making rabbit hole at Nash yarn fest. Pretty chuffed with progress so far. I’ve got multiple colors and lots of placement choices ahead!
Use them all the time. Cuts drying time in half, still tight on my foot.
And damn it, I like them to look pretty in the drawer. Are they “necessary”? Nope. Do I love using them? Yep!
