I have not regretted my move to PDX at all. The quality of life is so much better. There are things I miss, but overall it's great. I feel like I'm jiving with Portland because it's a mix of places I've lived before: liberal and proud like SF, green and lush like Ohio, mountains around like AZ/LA.

As far as I can tell Republican policy closely matches my toddler's (1.5 yo). Running around and smashing whatever they can get their hands on and then clapping for themselves because the other people on the room yelled "not that!" And they get the bonus thrill of having made a loud sound.
