With the Blue Jays forcing a Game 7, we now have 6 series that have gone the full distance this postseason
That passes 2020 and 2012 for the most in a single postseason
(And yes, there are more series these days, but 6 has been possible since โ95 and in โ81)
As if the 2025 Postseason wasn't crazy enough, this is the 2nd time in LCS history (since 1969) where both the AL and NL home teams started 0-2.
The other? 1970 when it was a Best of 5 series. The Orioles over the Twins and the Reds over the Pirates.
We are now guaranteed a World Series matchup that weโve never seen before
