There was two players that perfectly overlapped each other
Was bug hunting and figure out the slight variance in the holes is enough to split the clone off if I hit it at the right angle
Other than that? I had NO idea 🤣

Wanna know something cool I noticed toying with my 3d models
When making really small renders, over exaggerating parts of the model make it much sharper and more distinct🤔
Or seems like it anyway, at any rate this guys renders seem way better😆

Baseline for the snake is done already
No attacks other than the zoomies, But that attack was logically different so it got special treatment🤔
Nexus is next, big computer boss
Then I can divvy up player mechanics to plan attacks & beat them

Had a great idea to make the sides trees then bend them out of the way for the snake

The transition now makes sure the doors are aligned no matter what angle or space you enter it from...
Not important, but the de-synced doors from the last post was bothering me😆
Also tested to see if doors close...
I dont think grass works that way🤔

Well purposely overscoped 😆
Comes at a cost, 1 slightly larger dungeon with two distinct zones instead of 2 with a typical miniboss/boss structure.
Puzzles are likely going to be a bit simpler too.
Bosses should be a ton of fun though

Im actually need a main villain still. I have the basic plot and logic ready, but I'm drawing a blank on the character
With the pink rabbit it's obviously a parady of a link to the past, but I don't want to go with a pig for the villain 🤔

A shame though, I was liking that other system.
Could potentially use it in my main game though. That one has the time to go through the instances and the dungeons are more compact and interconnected.
In this game I have to restrict a lot. Especially since I overscoped the bosses 😆

Yeah I kinda want people to just be blunt with my playtest. In the main game I'm trying to balance out a lot of random mechanics.
Trying to think through it, but I really need to know what works and what doesn't.
Don't plan on taking anything personally, so people can just shred it to pieces 😆

Was actually thinking of giving him two phases, where he spikes up for the second one, does more damage and moves faster with some attacks.

Added in wood type objects to replace the original poles. Can hook on them, they burn, and are one time use
I may have to put in a hard dungeon reset somehow because you can actually trap yourself if your not careful

Id have an opinion but I'd hate to give it then release a broken game 😆
For the most part I take out my note pad and just have sessions where I try to break everything
At some point I'll start handing out the playtest and tell them the challenge isn't to beat it, it's to break it 😆

Nah can't hurt the thing either 😆
It's old tech for testing/repairing artificial limbs and implants
Not meant for battle, but running at 100% has natural defensive and offensive capabilities
Way too rare to piece apart, they need to be kept away from the communication system to keep them dormant

Yeah, he's the easiest boss at the moment. Don't even need to fight him can just avoid him
More of a narrative boss to introduce those particular robots early 🤔
Just need to know they're much different than normal bots, no one knows how to control them, and they hit like a freight train 😆

Thought it would be cool if the fire spreads in the grass
Was thinking of making wood things that block some paths. Would need any type of 🔥 to get through

Have this guy on the new enemy AI system
He was a bit tricky, I introduced a lot of inheritance on my refactoring journey and he had some conflicts 😵💫
Also toyed with that heavy punch attacks effect!💪
Really want a shader that cracks the screen🤔

Yeah I just set the line to grow with the alarm that sets off the attack. Occurred to me afterwards I can just make it a percentage of 180 and throw it in a sin function.
Should grow and shrink quickly, then the snake smashes through.
