Also much love to my brother @mattlaz1013.bsky.social for being my ride or die for 4x longer than that.
Occurred to me this morning that Iโve been doing this show for more than 8 years at this point.
another reason i'm sad krakoa ended is that a shard storyline would have whipped ass and made bishop's position as captain commander a real crucible.
ICYMI my pick this week is Avengers #36. It's been an uneven run, but I'm a sucker for big giant-size Kang nonsense!
I dip in and out of Bat stuff, but this issue is really good. Jimenez stretches his legs and does some really cool stuff with layouts, and even though thereโs almost no action in this comic, itโs intense and it zips. Even if youโre tired of Joker, read this one.

โSex sells, but so does character.โ
ICYMI, my pick this week was EXPLOIT #1 from @laurahudson.bsky.social @timleong.bsky.social @emilianapinna.bsky.social @madcavestudios.com See what else the gang is hype for.
We're back babyyyy! Go check all the amazing entries for the Blink redesign:
Yโknow, Sonic Racing was a poor Mario Kart clone, but that soundtrack had some bangers.

Iโm in this! Give it a lissy-loo!
OMG I just saw a truck for Four Seasons Total Landscaping! Remember them? From before? This guy gets it. (Points at a person from Philly.)
PF16 fulfills the promise of the first issue in such a satisfying but still surprising way. And @casparw.bsky.socialโs art just keeps getting better and better. Canโt wait to see what this book looks like after the hiatus.
Definitely worth your time, especially if you've noticed the weird visual regression in a lot of Marvel's top women heroes.
Next week's CXF Interview Podcast with guests @laurahudson.bsky.social & @timleong.bsky.social is LIVE INSANELY EARLY for Patreon backers www.patreon.com/posts/151710... Listen to us talk about their new @madcavestudios.com series EXPLOIT before everyone else, and get those backer benefits!
If you missed it, be sure to check out this interview with @almondmilkart.bsky.social and I about Penny and the Yeti. FOC (Final Order Cutoff) is 3/30 and the book will be out 4/21. We canโt wait!
Love when I edit an episode and find myself laughing listening to it over again. Enjoy this super-early peek into the distant future of next week!
My local comic show has had a run of bad luck but keeps coming back strong. Much love.
1) This is a good read
2) Violently squirming at the phrase โindividually articulated breastsโ
3) Does anyone know how many female writers/artists currently have not just minis but ongoings at Marvel? Because I have a feeling it could be more
go Dr. @annapeppard.bsky.social, go
