Last night Robert Wilkinson told a story at the Schooner about going into Oarfolk in 1977 and Peter Jesperson gave him a taped copy of David Bowie’s new single “Heroes.” A week later, Robert had his band Flamingo covering Heroes, and Robert has been playing the song ever since, including last night.
