i’ve tried this (lived in a house with cats for a decade) and unfortunately it does not help

i got a little 400ml carafe so that i could drink coffee out of my tiny cortado glasses

also i’ve been serving into a different cup from what i brew into. i started using chilled glasses from the freezer for serving which mostly does nothing but it makes me happy

my grind is a 51 on my df54 which is in the pourover range, but depends on your coffee. you could probably get really similar results with a french press since most the extraction is just immersion

the aeropress is really forgiving, it’s difficult to make a bad cup of coffee with it. i’ve been doing:

15g coffee 150g water, 4-10 minute steep, gentle press. dilute with ~100g ice and stir to chill, then add more ice to serve. longer steeps have been better but i don’t always have 10 minutes

i’ve gotten really into making iced coffee with my aeropress this week, it’s been a nice change of pace from espresso

all this edible has done has make me worse at tetris i wabnt to sob

it takes a week to ship to me which is a little annoying but i would have rested the coffee for like 5 days anyway so its fine i guess

gave in to the advertising spree and bought a new bag of coffee from counter culture coffee, i’m excited to try it
