Of course, this is all tentative. The world is a nightmare, fascists are invading my town, I am constantly at war with a body and brain with CPTSD that hates that I'm taking risks and doing things. But! These are my plans, and I'm writing them down, so...here's hoping?

Winter: Finishing touches! Wrap up posting the last book of the Niv and Yule arc + maybe finish up posting the second volume of Canticle (still not sure how many chapters that beast will be)? My goal is to release Whiskey and Blood in early 2027!

Fall: Putting the book together and posting. Finish edits on W&B, get the e-book and physical copies formatted and ready to go. Start posting the last book in the series, and keep on keeping on with Canticle.

Summer: The big work push. I have summers off, so I hope to have Whiskey and Blood out for beta reads/do the next editing pass on it over the summer. Keep posting Canticle, but also draft the final book of Niv and Yule's story. Commission editors + cover artist + other help to get W&B ready.

Spring: Keep working on edits for the first book of the Niv/Yule arc, keep posting chapters of Canticle. The last two short stories in the NIv/Yule arc before the final novel should be up by April! The first of the two (sitting at 39k!) is currently in second round edits.

I will probably write the whole thing out before posting any of it, just to make sure all the pieces are in the right places. It might end up being as long as Mushroom Picking Season? It's really an awkward size...as in too long...but I think the issue of packaging + grouping will come later.

Look forward to chapters from that starting this weekend! That does not, however, mean that I'm neglecting Niv and Yule. I'm working on the last "short story" that comes before the third and final volume of that series and...boy, it's a doozy. 15k atm, and I have no idea how many it'll end with.
