Thank you!
That is very true.

I tried (and failed) to make a simpler way to work with WGPU for rendering and computing pipelines.
Maybe I will take another swing at it.
oh... still need a Political Science and a History class to meet General Education requirements. Sigh.
Well... I'm traveling through a metaphorical desert. It's gonna be a long haul.
Looking forward to Physics 3 course this Spring semester. Will still need to take Physics 2 in the Fall.
Once that's done, I need to check and see where I stand with UC/CSU transfer requirements.
Might still need a Bio and a Chem class (for whatever reason).
eMPG != electric Miles Per Gallon
eMPG == Emily Miles Per Go
It feels like medicine has specialized ad absurdum.
at this point those headlights are more LASER than high beams.
Central air heat pump systems, solar + battery systems, home EV charging would be great. Need funds though.
Maybe I should consider re-opening shop. π€
Finished my Fall Semester! The simulated 8-bit CPU worked perfectly!
(... after I decompiled the sample app, and checked the instructions against my hardware simulation)
It is a course requirement, I have no say in the matter... though I suspect it's because that's the last version the professor could get working on the variety of student PCs and Mac books
Logism 2.7.1
oh, whoops. 8-bit CPU
ah well... at least a hard reset of the app gets it going again.
Currently working on my final project for a CS class. We are tasked with building a 32-bit CPU (with ALU, PC, RAM, bus, clock, etc) from scratch in Logism 2.x
....the darn simulator keeps crapping out, forcing me to save and restart. (Resetting the simulator within the app doesn't fix it)

Anyone know where I might source a Blue-ray drive belt? (rubber, square, 1.6mm thick, folded in half is about 45mm long)
Somewhere someone is thinking βat last the hacking game from Bioshock can be real!β Very interesting bit of kit at the hart of this and be interesting to see if people expand the idea with more layouts.
Ran out of time, so I'll finish the repairs with thin gauge wire tomorrow.
I finally got around to repairing the HDMI footprint on this XBox Series X board.
Who wants a nice synthwave snare reverb for a send channel? Works great on 100bpm tracks. Spent 5 hours today just fine tuning snares for the next track π₯²
I want to say.... yes? At least, that's the justification I am making for spending cash on it. π€£
Ordered a portable USB microscope kit (with polarized lens) for PCB rework. Hopefully, this will work well enough. (HDMi trace repair of an XBox Series X PCB)

PSA: Summer activities abound!
That said, please remember water safety! If riding a watercraft, wear appropriately sized life jackets, ensure your vehicles are inspected and in working order, and have a plan in case of an emergency.
Also, drowning people can't yell for help! Be mindful, be safe!
Anyone in or around Santa Rosa to San Francisco (CA) have a used AmScope for PCB rework they'd like to sell?
Thankfully, I already have the solder mask and a UV flashlight
β οΈ UV-A. Eye danger! Will implement proper safety precautions before using.
... was VERY tempted to use a butane torch iron... but I didn't.
Also, I had to drill out the mount holes using the smallest drill bit I could get my mitts on - 1/8". No amount of desoldering could get the solder out.
True. I am a bit weary to buy one second hand, as I don't know enough about it to fix unexpected issues.
