I had to entirely re-export this. I drew it nine years ago and the files were corrupted.
It was funny opening up the old files and seeing how different my priorities were and how many basic mistakes I was making.
This sequence was my baby back then and I remember being so proud of it.

But that said, yes. It is super hard to do this style of animation if we started our animation journey with Western principles. My friend, Jamie Vickers, told me to "Try going this way instead of that way." And though it's a bit of a riddle, it does help! That and keeping contrast in mind🙂
