New to me #Mezei Watch Company. Great looking dials with nice dimensions and cool engraving on the back and sides. Miyota 8215 is dependable. At about $500 this seems like a solid buy especially for a little more on the Milanese bracelet.

So MTA's new dual-power train stopped running on either today, leaving me stuck in the tunnel to Grand Central Terminal for over an hour. But the guy next to me kept beeping and I got to see a vintage 1990s Casio Data Bank calculator watch, DBC‑32D. (He's not letting his son set alarms anymore).
The #Vulcain Skindiver Nautique rarely appears on dive watch top ten lists and I didn't know why. 38mm x 12.2mm with 200m resistance and an ETA 2824 movement. Great vintage looks. And now an LE with a meteorite dial. $2520. Should be considered if you're diver hunting.

This NY weather must be making me cranky. The new #Hamilton Jazzmaster Open Heart (3 dial colors) is a no for me. I think it ruins an otherwise clean looking watch. I don't need to see a Hamilton branded Powermatic80 through the face. $1400 on a bracelet.
