My first opportunity to vote was for Jimmy Carter in 1976; we had to be 21 then. My generation fought hard to reduce the voting age to 18; if you're sending kids off to war ... by God they ought to have an opinion about it.

Unfortunately, the US has supported Israel in too many conflicts; Dems and GOP both, one administration into the next. This is generational.

Netanyahu keeps a conflict going for the same reason as Trump; to stay in office so they can't be charged. When Netanyahu is gone he will be charged.

3/ Wheelchair guy was "okay" sent to a rehab facility ... litter guy stayed in the psych ward for weeks, than transferred to the VA.

God, we hated that war. I get anxiety thinking about these kids today. My generation pushed to have 18 yr olds vote; you're welcome.

2/ They knew of, but didn't KNOW ... have my own PTSD. One that still stays with me; read the tag on a litter patient, weeping, shaking violently; no physical injuries. His buddy was strapped in a wheelchair; lost his legs, his manhood. "I told you we'd make it! We're home, man, we made it!"

Tks for the reminder; my girls know I lost my mother young, raised in family foster.

I didn't tell them of the rawness of receiving Vietnam wounded as an AF medic (stateside) and transporting them to the hospital; so many amputees, blinded, burned, PTSD. It was gut wrenching. Beautiful young men.

DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin is one of the most active stock-traders in the Senate — and violated the STOCK Act against insider trading as recently as last August.

He currently holds stock in L3Harris, which has millions in contracts with ICE and FEMA.
