It was a very busy and fun weekend at the Fitzroy Harbour Winter Carnival. I was back on Saturday morning to help the hardworking crew from Ottawa Fire Station 62 serve breakfast to the community. Thank you to the Fitzroy Harbour CA and everyone who helped make this a special weekend.
The Fitzroy Harbour Winter Carnival got off to a great start last night with a busy (and delicious) spaghetti dinner followed by the annual City vs Country hockey game. A really fun night and itβs just getting started with more fun over the next two days. See you there!

I was more than a little bit rusty, but I had an absolute blast playing in the Kinburn Community Associationβs 4 on 4 outdoor hockey tournament on the weekend. Thank you to the volunteers at the KCA, and the guys from Ottawa Fire Station 61 in Kinburn for letting me play on their team.

It was a chilly but beautiful day on Saturday as we enjoyed our time taking in the Carp Winter Carnival. Thanks to the Huntley Community Association for putting on such a great event. We enjoyed bacon on a bun, a sleigh ride, maple taffy by the fire, and some outdoor hockey action.
