We signed onto this letter to Congress because cutting GAO's funding by 49% is a bad idea, plain and simple. These cuts would reduce Congress’s ability to ensure taxpayer funds are used wisely and to prevent waste, fraud and abuse.
Some good news: the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers reached a landmark tentative agreement with CBS last week.
The workers secured major pay increases, provisions over the use of AI, and other historic wins.
Unions can give us hope even during dark times.

Honestly? More embarrassing for them than that time they crashed the global economy for a day. This is an intentional decision, they should feel bad, and the community shouldn't let them live it down.
