I would never go on someone else’s timeline and try to regulate their way of posting, especially if it doesn’t violate any community standards. It’s out of line. There’s always the simple option not to read something - and certainly nobody is obliged to meet anyone’s else’s arbitrary preferences.
It’s just one example. I don’t know where those other colleagues are active nor how that works out for them. Just pointing out a tendency I’ve seen here more than once, of some users, to tell other people what they can or can’t post/link to, acting like self-appointed kindergarten teachers.
I used to have trouble understanding why some colleagues dislike 🦋Bluesky, but today found an example of the peculiar obnoxiousness that was cited to me as one reason to avoid this place: ”Linkwatch”, indeed! Sounds a bit like “Blockwart”.👏
