I use persistent in my general mix, also fertilise once a month with seaweed . The light is indirect, usually a minimum of a metre from a window.

The only way is strong herbicide or digging it out . We had some invasive type here and dug it out, then rotary hired it over, the neighbours are still digging out theirs. Sad really.
