Why did they have to single out koalas so brutally on the pattern recognition wiki 😭😭😭

Observing the Day of Remembrance Amid Increased ICE Activity in South Seattle From Puyallup to Tacoma, community members honor those incarcerated under Executive Order 9066 while calling attention to immigrant detention and deportation flights leaving King County.

i haven't been sleeping well and this week is incredibly busy and stressful. i have no pretty words for DOR this year. anything less that total abolition of ICE and dismantling of the structures that allowed them to exist in the first place is unacceptable. bye

Every time we do an action like this, we get comments like this from people who have no clue. This is why every DOR must be overtly, unflinchingly political. I'm always amazed they think they get to tell us what our history means

Day of Remembrance once again. Thanks to all who came out this morning to demand an end to ICE deportation flights out of King County Airport

Our annual Day of Remembrance rally outside the Northwest Detention Center will be on Feb 21 at 1pm. For years, Japanese Americans have been saying Abolish ICE, no more U.S. concentration camps, and let no politician give empty platitudes on DOR while imprisoning and deporting our neighbors
