I can highly recommend @killjamesbond.bsky.social … it started as an all-trans hosted anti-James Bond podcast going through all of the Bond movies, but it has since diversified into others (some spy-based, some heist-based) and has covered at least one Pixar movie (Cars 2) in bonus episodes.

It's the perfect video, let's be honest.

Halloween Baking - FEMBOY BANANA BREAD
Halloween Baking - FEMBOY BANANA BREAD YouTube video by Dan and Phil

Dan has certainly dressed as a cat girl, while both of them have
been femboys for this 'standard' baking video not long after revealing they have been a long-term couple. Even before that, they've been chaotically gay in a way I can get on board with. :)

There has been ticketing around Canal Street which does seem to reduce potential numbers, but (1) it’s not completely enforceable (legal access rights and all that), and (2) I’m not sure how the new organisation is going to change that? (Ideally any tickets should be for the main stage, I guess?)

Probably not … it’s been a hot minute since I last went, but even though the Canal Street area is quite narrow in shape/size, I’ve been able to make my way through any crowds without too much trouble.

To be honest, both.

I had a lot of fun keying the programs from that book and several others into various computers, including some not listed there. :)

It also happens in the UK if they qualify as off-licences, though when you can buy alcohol from them can vary.

Basic and advanced hydrodynamics are always perfectly acceptable as far as I'm concerned. :)

I'd back all of that ... one of those Brits is my sister's (cheating) ex-husband, so dropping him over the Med would be great. :)

It does look like one of those perspective-based optical illusions to me ... M.C. Escher would be proud. :)

And how delicious it is that she quartered her party's vote share in the process *and* lost their deposit for the first time in 64 years. :)

Given their candidate is a trustee of the transphobic Sex Matters and an ex-cop, I would suggest some exposure to mould might also be involved here. 🀷

Even more than that, you (Labour) were doing that long before the Runcorn by-election and it has already been shown not to work.

Plus he happens to be very good at taking reporters and news presenters to task for uncritically parroting Reform’s viewpoints (esp. on immigration and trans rights), which are not so far removed from Labour’s (at least its leadership’s) at the moment.

Adding that her party’s leader also happens to be gay and Jewish, who said that his party was aiming to replace Labour … working well so far. :)

Curiously/coincidentally, @jackbern.bsky.social and Jenny Eclair were discussing this location during this week's People's Podcast - they were going through that series' final episode and the final solo task was filmed there with Alex tricycling around a big oak (?) tree.

And yet hip and knee replacement surgeries have significantly higher regret rates than gender affirmation surgeries … up to one sixth of knee replacement patients have decision regret (compared with ~1-2% for gender affirmation).

Exactly this … spoiling their ballot papers would have been the least harmful option for a protest vote that would still somehow register.

And/or the risk of never getting those photos back.

I think we have laws in place that allow those sorts of charges to be brought even if it happens in a different country.

The US (federal and individual states) has statutes of limitations for quite a lot of crimes, so there is a risk of time running out before a charge could ever be brought.

He did promise in an interview he’d go on a drug-addled bender in his mid-80s (which he’s now reached) … if anything, that would make him noticeably more coherent than he currently is now.

I still wouldn’t rule out time machine shenanigans, though … who knows what Gru and Dr Nefario have managed to come up with? If the Minions can fuck around with something, they absolutely will!

14.02.2026 18:09 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The problem now, though, is the upcoming Minions film has them acting in 1920s silent movies … so what’s going on here? Did some of them get out of that ice cave 40 years earlier than Kevin, Stuart and Bob, or is there some wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey going on?

My spouse took me onto Queen Victoria for my 42nd birthday three years ago … just five days/four nights from Southampton to Hamburg and back.

Yep … for VAT reasons - cakes are VAT-free but chocolate-coated biscuits are not.

To be fair, I get more upset by people misspelling Michael (as β€œMicheal” … urgh!) than being called Mike presumptuously.
