One neat thing about living in a postage stamp of a town: it's just me and @ursaastra.bsky.social so far for a showing of The Bride! at our tiny movie theater.
Hopper is also showing and that seems to be...
hopping.

Think of the money we could make for communities from this.
I'm so sorry you're going through that. I've been there. It's a *horrible* feeling.
I used to work in family practice/pediatrics scheduling and it was super common to have parents sneak their kids in behind the backs of their anti-vax spouses. And a lot of that happened because the one spouse was met half-way by someone.

Can we get Ricky Martin to do a gym photo shoot?
I'll stand with you. I loved it. Got a bunch of Lego from it and everything. lol
Now it's probably just leather jackets. When I worked in an office, it would have been a toss up between the leather jackets and turtlenecks with suiting vests over them. And I do usually wear red or black.
For some reason I hear Carol Burnett saying, "Maaaay-yaaaan" when I read this. π
You have at least 100 potential villain origin stories with her alone and I don't know how you haven't just leaned in yet. And no one would blame you. π
I'm sorry. π’
Yup. Like his lungs went to shit or something.
It's been so long since I've watched it I wasn't sure if I was remembering it right or mushing together like Dollhouse and who Wedon is as a person along with it. lol
It's been a minute since I've seen the movie but I remember it felt kind of forced. Like they were trying too hard to cram all the seasons that were never going to be into two hours and it didn't quite work.
I think that's the thing. There's too much...behind the scenes ick that I don't know it can be overcome.
I've been watching the hype things about this with a looooot of trepidation. lol
Da woims. π

Paternal gf made gravestones. My grandmother would get the obituaries and make a list and he'd go knock on the door of the grieving family and offer "free" engraving because he was sad for them. (It was already free).
Maternal gf ran a dairy farm and was Air Force.
They did *not* get along. π€£
Once we were at a place where you had to stand around to eat and I gave my plate to my husband to hold to go to the bathroom and came back to him having eaten the rest of my delicious cheeseburger. I think there's still a small crater in the spot. π€£
I did get a second cheeseburger. π
I always assumed this helmet came to be because someone envisioned a future where shopping malls become temples to a bygone era in a reality where only Sunglass Hut survived.
You know those kids who werenβt good at anything and resented the hell out of anyone who was? Who destroyed art projects and Lego towers for the fun of it? Who might have been rich or attractive but were seethingly angry that this didnβt make people like them? Well they run the country now
Is this an option?
More of this. I hope he has the worst time in prison.
Bluesky hasn't been working well for me today, so if you can see this, it's a sign that you're supposed to check out THE ELF WITH NO NAME!
