I haven't had work in months.
I'm a good art director, expert pixel artist, and although I prefer to do art, I can also make entire games from start to finish if necessary, as pictured. Not the greatest coder, but I get the job done (like Chapell Roan I guess).

So now I have some permanent metaprogress upgrades.
Its got a little roguelite element to the shmup waves now, but you also get powerups during gameplay like a standard shmup.
I'm definitely leaning far more casual than hardcore here.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.
I've been building a guitar app. 4 modifier buttons combine into 16 chord types - basic chords, the Hendrix chord, jazz voicings. Here's me stumbling through Van Halen's 'Can't Stop Loving You' on mouse & keyboard. Way easier on touch :D

I kept seeing something in japanese shmups: bullets are equidistant. So moving up doesn't create clumps of bullets, and moving down doesn't make the bullet stream seem more sparse.
So I mocked it up. Feels very right. It's not for anything, just a proof of concept.

This is so cool and thanks for talking about it. I noticed the same thing and my solution was to parent the bullets to the ship, but you get a side effect of having them...well, travel with the ship, haha. I'm going to look into this. Here's the parenting off/on in my prototype:
