Soy mince can be absolutely fantastic. It's become much more our go-to, especially as I'm not a huge fan of tofu. I'm sure Dan will share some of his recipes with you!

We appreciated it at Taskmaster! You were on fire! I'm so glad you get some time to chill, reflect and have some time to actually digest what you did and what you are up to next. X
Completely lost Thursday, Friday and OG weekend plans due to a horrid cold - so made the most of it at home. Fence repaint, half the garden weeded, plants planted and repotted and a completely private cinema screening for ยฃ4.60 for two. Not such a wasted weekend after all.
You know you're at a gig with people of a certain age when you see this much sensible footwear... Let's get ready to dance bitches! ๐
It's my 40th birthday tomorrow! I keep thinking I should probably feel properly grown up by now, but I really don't. Cheers all!
Got tickets to see #Uncanny @dannyrobins.bsky.social and crew in Birmingham! Woop woop!
Will we get a presale for Birmingham in March? So excited to see Uncanny live again!
We've had hamsters and they can definitely wriggle out of small places. If they were poisoned at the same rate, it would make sense that they died around the same time going for the door/crack of air. It's not a perfect theory, but are they remembering right that it was the same place every time?
Normally wait for the podcast, but couldn't wait tonight! Could the 'blood' down the chimney not be rust and water in an old house? Also, could the animals be searching for clean air if it is carbon monoxide poison? Would explain the hamsters and the cat going for the chimney?
I feel like you left the worst case for last Danny! Shadow man was so strong with its multiple witnesses and genuinely frightening experiences, but this case felt weak and largely explainable in parts. The case updates were absolutely incredible though, so glad we could hear more on case 1, 2 and 3!
Never, ever going to Crofton. Sorry Croftonites - I'm sure it's a lovely town - but absolutely not when shadow man is absolute! @dannyrobins.bsky.social
*laughs maniacally* MARDI GRAS-DEN BIRTHDAY IS SO ON!
Had a bloody wonderful time at #Birmingham Light Festival launch tonight. Took some time to tour around some of the fabulous installations, as we're away at the weekend. Do check it out if you're around town, especially the silent disco on Centenery Square!
He said he basically became nocturnal as couldn't handle trying to sleep at night with the shadow man on the prowl. I can understand being in the living room... I wouldn't want to hang out in my sleeping space and there's not a lot to do outside the house! It's also where, I imagine, the TV etc is.
I normally scoff at the end of @dannyrobins.bsky.social #Uncanny when he says "Don't have nightmares", but the 'Shadow Man' episode properly shook me up. Listening to the @bbcsounds.bsky.social podcast has only made it worse! I can't imagine how terrifying that experience must have been for Julian.
Exciting times in the Osgard household, as we tried a new type of #Haribo after dinner. Really loved the banana and rhubarb & custard hoops! #sweets #sugar #snacks #treats
Absolutely gorgeous offer for any charities with caring or support responsibilities. Take yourselves away on a break! โค๏ธ
We've been to every (I think) @phlaimeaux.bsky.social gig in Brum and Wolves over the last 15 years - but tonight was definitely one of the absolute best! Still giggling on the train home.
It's been a while, but excited to see @phlaimeaux.bsky.social at Town Hall once again! Ready for beefs, bleeps and bicycles! #Birmingham
The Vinted gods are really coming up with the goods for my Mardi Gras themed 40th birthday party. Managing to find loads of stuff in the UK, just no baby for the king cake as yet!
Today we went to the cinema to see The Presence. It had very similar vibe to 'A Ghost Story', but I found it gripping and moving. Now a break from films to play some board games!
A good film weekend. Last night was The Canal (standard ghost story) and Grave Encounters (found footage, low budget but quite fun) - both very watchable, but the outright winner was the disturbing and captivating @philtippett.bsky.social Mad God (Stop motion horror). Glorious and highly recommended
I obviously have no idea what you're going through mentally or physically, but I don't think you're more of a chaos gremlin when you drink. You seem to have as much chaotic energy when sober!
Squiddy was crowned the champion at Taskmaster, but what a fabulous way to start our week! Lion king yesterday, Taskmaster today and now headed home after a mad and glorious weekend of fun in that there London.
Thanks Jules. Xx
So, after less than a year of being at risk of redundancy and switching job, I have been put 'At Risk' of redundancy. What a bother. Trying to keep my chin up, but I'm pretty gutted about the whole thing. Hate job hunting. #redundancy #jobsearch
Love a #Stirchley Sunday session. Started strong with the swap shop at Attic (got a copy of Munchkin) and then pints at Birmingham Brewing. So nice now it's more mild out.
You're an absolute superstar! Thank you! Going for trippy with Circus Circus. Definitely looking for that weird Vegas experience. Will book the atomic museum (which my other half had already expressed interest in). Can't wait!
The things I'm really looking forward to are the neon graveyard, zipline, the circus circus theme park and generally soaking up the bonkers aura. Probably fit in dinner and a show too. We've only got three full days, so not over thinking it too much - but will book some things up before we go.
