Read this one again last week. I still love that Agent Roach scene!

You're a legend, glad you enjoyed it again!
Fabulous!
Following my previous post, here are some links to bookshops in Minneapolis who could use our support. Please share and/or order from them!
Comma Bookshop commabookshop.com
Moon Palace Books www.moonpalacebooks.com
Birchbark Books birchbarkbooks.com
Black Garnet Books www.blackgarnetbooks.com
Sharing this. I also put a post out on Threads because I had heard bookshops were suffering and wanted to try to support them. So now there's a whole load of tags and links to those on the ground who need our help! You can find them in the replies here:

Absolutely. The guy just wants to make sure people are okay.
I am! Although considering everything else that happens in the book, I'm grateful it wasn't worse.
It's how I introduce myself these days.
Not only is Stringers utterly brilliant - and funny - but I'm forever immortalised in the story as an alien!
I still have yet to return the favour for @scribeofhades.bsky.social
π
Stringers is SOOOOO good!
Thank you!
Thanks mate. :)

Shared for no reason at all.
The cover of Loki A Bad God's Guide To Being Good by Louie Stowell, with an orange cover, a black circle surrounded by runes with horns, and lots of pictures such as a devil, a snake, a hammer, a sword, a chicken, a house, a pencil, a book
For anyone who may be hastily returning certain books they bought as Christmas presents, here's a thread of excellent children's books I highly recommend you buy instead:
Loki A Bad God's Guide To Being Good by Louie Stowell
Funny, chaotic and a little bit naughty
okay, a lot naughty
Thanks for being the present (and organised) one, Anna!
And keep posting what you're reading and collect these badges, still five days to go! π π π
Well, that's it for tonight, we hope to be a little bit more present next year than we've been now (*life* came in the way...). As always, you've all been brilliant, thank you so much for participating!! π₯°ππππππ

I figured Iβd read the book before the movie and already I donβt know how they did the movie! So different but so good.
Iβm still reading The Talisman, but I am a third of the way through The Life Of Chuck as well and itβs gorgeously heartbreaking so far!
I have too many on my TBR to read already, so not sure Iβm going to wish for more (lol I absolutely will) but Iβm excited to get to Shitshow by Chris Panatier!
I do think that book I recommended in my last post - Fractured Echoes - would make a great limited series. Spooky stuff in Blackpool? That could be done so well!

Thanks Nils!!!!
My answer to this one is YES I have read a couple of fab spooky reads from clients, one of which is now out. Highly recommend this awesome story set in Blackpool called Fractured Echoes by JJ Noad: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FGY7RZ9...
