When I got him for today's session, he met me at the door to his kennel with a toy in his mouth. He also maintained his self control when encountering a strange man.

I'm making slow progress with this boy. He's still distrustful of people in general and men in particular, but he is willingly approaching me and inviting contact and pets.

We had a very good session today. After a happy greeting, I brought her into the training room for some play time. Afterwards, I introduced her to an experienced volunteer for some socialization and enrichment.

I started working with a dog (doberman mix) today who was presented as having severe barrier aggression. After working with him, I suspect that his reaction to people approaching his kennel is due to his solid house training. He just needs to be walked.

This pretty girl is a new arrival at the shelter. Although she is very anxious and stressed, she eventually gained enough confidence to interact with me and her new environment. She's very gentle and I think she'll be adaptable very soon.
