Someone understands that Trump's a lame duck & preserving a political career requires distancing himself from some of the boss's most repugnant actions. Worked out great for Mike Pence.
To make it truly honorable, he’d need to publicly declare contrition for his assault on our representative democracy and resign with the intention of spending the rest of his time on Earth trying to become a better person. That’s all he’d have to do to earn my respect as a person.
Pardoning the suckers who fell for his scam could be the beginning of the only honorable thing Trump has done during this entire episode—an admission that he is the one responsible and left his pathetic marks holding the bag.
