That's really pretty! I love it.

That said, I doubt Trump knows what the word means. Or truly understands that for a war to stop, one side or the other (or both) decide that it is no longer worth fighting). I think the US will get there first as a democracy where politicians pay a price in elections for a bad economy.
The only thing the US could do (with conventional munitions) is blow the water (dams) and electrical systems in Iran up, and leave them with the specter of tens of millions dying of thirst and disease.
Obviously war crimes, but it's the only scenario I can envision that gets unconditional surrender
There's really only been one air campaign that came close to forcing a regime into unconditional surrender, and that was the US air and sea campaign against Japan in 1945. Millions would starve to death in 1946. However, Japan wasn't ready to give up until after the first atomic bomb.
More proof that Trump is "underpants gnoming" his way through this. I could write an entire article on this, but the BLUF is Iranian leadership !@#ing hates the US, and without boots on the ground there's no way they'll agree to maximalist US terms. We cannot bomb them into surrender... unless
We're still paying $52 million per year for Bradley Beal levels of production, at lower efficiency.
Well, now they've all latched onto the shitty argument that trans people aren't competent to make decisions until they're 26, including this guy. So, now it's my contention that being gay should be illegal until you're 26, because you might change your mind.
*ID or transition
Read the full post, all 5 of them. I don't believe any of these: but they are the points made about why trans people shouldn't be allowed to transition until they're 26. I was writing this to make a point, and you helped prove it. This was highly offensive to gay people, just as it is to trans folks
You didn't read the full thread or understand it.
I don't believe any of these arguments, but they're the argument that (gay) transphobes like Ben use on why trans people shouldn't be allowed to UD as trans.
But, now you understand why these attributes trans points are so upsetting.
Yes. That's my point. They're the exact arguments used on why trans people shouldn't be allowed to be trans until they're 26.
The reaction you're having is the reaction trans people are told they're not allowed to have.

All of his little fascist friends in the Trump administration will absolutely use his work to wipe out cis gay men when they're don with transgender people.
If trans people are stripped of their human right, gays are too in the process. 6/n
If all of this seems nasty, offensive, infantilizing, and infuriating, well, yeah. That's how trans people have been talked down to for years by this obsessive weirdo.
He's also too dense to realize if these arguments stick to trans people, they work on gay men as well... 5/n
What if they change their minds later, especially after they've contracted HIV/AIDS or another incurable STD? Too late then.
This is why we cannot, as a society, allow 18 year-olds, much less 13 year-olds, make the decision that they're homosexual. 4/n
Therapists shouldn't trust men to say whether or not they're gay. They're not trained to do so, and there's no diagnostic test other than someone's completely subjective "feelings". Maybe they're doing because it's trendy, or their friend came out as gay. 3/n
People's brains are not fully formed until they're 25 or older, according to this guy. So, men shouldn't be allowed to make momentous decision like having sex that could cause AIDS / monkeypox / herpes and make them reliant on pharmaceuticals for the rest of their lives. 2/n
I'll counter this:
I don't think men should be allowed to have gay sex until they've reached the age of 26.
The risk of HIV/AIDS is high enough that it's likely to turn a person into a lifelong medical patient and pharmaceutical user
Deciding to be gay means no sex for reproduction. 1/n
My latest at The Atlantic on why the US using up so much of its missile inventory on a war we didn't need is going to have downstream consequences. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
Gail is unmatched. Holy ****
Toth is absolutely a psychotic fascist. He introduced a bill to make it a felony to be transgender. He also suggested involuntarily committing every trans person in Texas.
Absolute Aktion T4 level Nazi.

Put another way, that's enough to buy a gender transition for everyone in the military.
Which would be less wasteful, because at least some would want it, as opposed to this war.
There's actual research on this: support for wars always goes down over time, and never up. I've never seen support for a war start at such a low level, and it will only go down from here.
Ok, I really laughed at this.
This is just brutal for PP and the CPC.
The most plausible tail risk that forces a US invasion is a Beslan-style massacre of kids inside the US. That would absolutely force Trump's hand.
My dude, you moved to a place where being LGBT is punishable by death, and over 50% of the country are foreign workers who are effectively slaves.
What's scary about this story is the surveillance it hints at. This trans woman had changed her name, legally, but chose not to change her gender marker. She was apparently flagged in the DMV system as trans and her license was invalidated under a law that supposedly only concerned gender markers.
Yeah.... my guess is they're following and fueling strike packages of heavies from the US (B-2, B-1, B-52)
