"In addition to the data collection, we are releasing open source software and documentation for replicating our work and creating similar repositories. With these tools, we aim not only to preserve knowledge ourselves but also to empower others to save and access the data that matters to them."
Sorry but it's the only thing I seem to be able to do after still being completely numb from Vance speech yesterday...
Happy #caturday! #catsofbluesky
I am sad for Germany today. First significant step away from democracy was taken today, after a long time...
"Wir werden uns noch in Jahrzehnten an diesen Tag heute erinnern, als die Konservativen und die Faschisten zum ersten Mal seit vielen Jahrzehnten schon wieder gemeinsame Sache gemacht haben"
Welcome to Bluesky, Josef!
Bluesky: nicer, kinder and less antagonistic to science.
The way and the speed with which the whole German politics is moving to the right is shocking. Suddenly everybody seems to have forgotten all about human rights, morals, and the dangers of the current rhetoric.
A great document by the Vatican on misinformation. I by no means have read all of it but to me at least it seems like an accessible overview of research and thoughts on this important topic.

Oscar Peterson Plays Porgy and Bess album cover showing a drawing of faceless figure jumping and putting feet together in mid air
I have been listening to Oscar a lot lately. He somehow touches me especially now and can lift me up. I particularly like his Porgy and Bess album.

Nice to see you here on Bluesky!
You could give chatgpt the mermaid.js and a jpg of the diagram you have and ask it to change the colours etc? Maybe then you get the desired result...
Yes, probably that. Anthropic obviously also didn't invest anything as much effort into visuals like images, videos and the like compared to openAI so anything in the direction of understanding visual style and colours is probably more difficult for Claude. Maybe if you hand off to chatgpt?
I did something similar the other day and can only echo your findings: Claude with its approach to make diagrams via code almost gets there - but the last 20% needed to make it really useful need to be done by hand and are 80% of the work anyway.
German government agencies are leaving the other place as it is "increasingly difficult to have a normal discussion there".
I hope more institutions follow suite and move to Bluesky or another platform that's not owned by a billionaire.

It's incredible how we keep making the same mistakes again. Moving in the direction of the extreme right, no matter exactly how much, normalises their hateful demands. We keep talking about only their agenda. We need to stop and focus on how to build a better, open and inclusive society.
Honestly, I think nothing actually is going to happen. Musk will walk about a while, tweet a lot of rubbish, trying to look cool, take selfies on planes eating burgers with Trump and then in early 2026 proclaim the job is done and how they saved America from bankruptcy. But actually: do nothing.
Nice to see you here - welcome to Bluesky!
Hi Mark! Great to have you here!! Big fan of yours...

It's disgusting how the bosses of big tech companies are now all falling over themselves to please this terrible person.

When three opponents unite to defend democracy. Really love what just happened in Germany. youtu.be/qfYbdT9lqk8?... #democracy #demokratie
What's the odds this also happened somewhere else...?
"... which show that the result of the Romanians' vote was blatantly distorted as a result of Russia's intervention".
