Takamoto-san was a creative director on Pirates of Dark Water. The level of talent they pulled for that show…I wonder if he brought his life experiences into the social justice angles of the show?

Maybe I’m just a snob, but at lots of shows I’ve seen or watched lately, I notice audience members who get extra loud and emotive just so others notice how ~enthusiastic~ they are, or to get the attention of performers. It annoys the shit out of me. But I should back off and let people enjoy things.

However, having my cables and desk setup spread amongst 3 boxes in 3 separate rooms...Smitha Of Two Weeks Ago assumed Smitha Of Today figure it out quickly, but Smitha Of Two Weeks Ago also forgot to label half of the boxes in her rush to pack. This is less than optimal.

I have contempt for the graphic designer who used such shitty color contrast for their searing-hot stinger of a point. (Second half is sarcastic. First half is real.)

But seriously, I can't forgive the voters who voted for him, and ESPECIALLY the ones who didn't vote at all.

Having a laptop with a full-capacity battery is amazing. I lost track of my charging cable during the move. Luckily, my work laptop still has more than half of its charge despite working remotely last week. (My home laptop has 2-3 hours, but it was a refurb and I just always plug it in anyway.)

To be fair, it was a domestic ANA flight that suffered the first lithium battery fire of the whole Boeing 787 Dreamliner line. It makes sense that they’d be extra cautious.

#Seattle: what’s the story with this afternoon’s car caravan with the “Make Iran great again” signs? They were getting onto 90EB from I-5. I honestly had no idea how to interpret that.

A few laser hair removal treatments may at least slow the growth? I’m getting my stache lasered (black hair + light brown skin = decades of grief, lol), and I’ve completed 3 out of 6 sessions, and it grows back so slowly now.
