It makes me happy to hear you say that you're in a good spot mentally. And hey even if it doesn't last forever you know you've got people that will have your back when you're going through a rough patch. Knowing that makes it easier to just focus on being in the moment.

Anyway I really enjoyed the new sleep token album. Not my favourite album of theirs overall (that title still goes to this place will become your tomb) but the standout tracks are all time high points

Some of my favourite albums that shaped me into who I am today have been given low scores by critics, publications and aggregators. Some of the most pivotal albums in pop culture were given incredibly low scores at release only to be re-evaluated years later.

It's only been a day of the remix being out but i've been incredibly humbled by how well it's been received. despite it being a remix it's still a project i've put a lot of thought, time and effort into deciding what ideas from the original i wanted to expand upon, how to execute them and making them sound as good as they possibly could i've learned a lot about how i go about the process of working on music while working on it. i was forced to trust my gut feelings about any idea a lot more and that resulted in one of my favourite things i've ever done i'm glad i followed through on those ideas and i'm so happy that those ideas have been sent out into the world to become part of the shared lexicon of music
