Senate advances resolution to block Trump from using military in Venezuela
The Senate voted 52–47 to advance a War Powers Resolution that would restrict Trump from taking further military action in Venezuela without Congress’s approval. It’s a step in the process not law yet and a presidential veto is expected if it passes fully.
